The Educational Wildlife Foundation (EWF) was established in 2004 to meet the growing need for wildlife conservation education. It's founder and president, Martin Merianos, has been diving since 1977 and has logged close to 5,000 dives. He has been filming under water since 1978 and has 6 years of formal education in photography and two years of education in film.

The Foundation hopes to raise awareness of conservation and wildlife protection for all types of animals that inhabit the earth. The Foundation will be educating today's youth through educational videos, DVDs, and illustrated books. It is the Foundation's hope that through this education today's youth will be more aware of their environment and the necessity of maintaining a healthy earth for future generations.
